Richard started at Western State Hospital as a security guard. He worked during the day in security and would volunteer for a few hours in IT all while taking care of a newborn with his wife. In about a year, Richard was able to get an interview and a position in the IT Department at WSH. Richard progressed in his career to manage the development team. Richard has worked for the state for 20 years.
